I work alongside doers, thinkers, and changemakers to document complex issues and make them accessible through film, photography, teaching, and public conversation.

Whether I'm filming beneath the surface of the ocean, leading storytelling workshops, or moderating a panel, my goal is the same: to help people see the world with greater curiosity.

FILMS

Through my work as Founder and Creative Director at Block by Block Creative, I have created hundreds of short films and videos for NGOs across North America. Often working as a "one man band," serving as  director/producer/cinematographer/photographer, my stories have focused on conservation, science storytelling, democracy, and civil rights.

Original films include Dysmocracy: The Fight over Fluoridewhich explores how a local political fight exposes fractures in democracy at the national level. Screenings of this film include a reverse Q&A where audiences are invited to examine their own beliefs in real time. Stream on Apple TV or Amazon.

I use photography to explore the natural world and the people seeking to protect it. Much is produced alongside my film work to provide my clients with a library of assets in multiple formats. I also create photo collections that capture ecosystem and natural behavior in all their wondrous varieties.
